R. Paul Guillerman
Dr. R. Paul Guillerman is Professor of Radiology at the Baylor College of Medicine and Administrative Liaison for Academic Affairs in the Department of Radiology at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas. He has given over 180 invited lectures at national and international meetings, authored over 100 peer-reviewed medical journal publications, and co-edited the latest edition of the Springer textbook Pediatric Chest Imaging. He is a recipient of the Master Clinician Award for Excellence in Patient Care by Baylor College of Medicine, Slovis Award for Best Basic Science Paper in the journal Pediatric Radiology, and Caffey Awards for Best Basic Science Paper and Best Clinical Paper at annual meetings of the Society for Pediatric Radiology (SPR). He served as co-director of the Center for Diagnostic Imaging of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) Therapeutic Development Network from 2011-2020 and as a member of the CFF Preschool Age Screening and Monitoring Workgroup, Children’s Interstitial Lung Disease Research Network (ChILDRN), SPR Research & Education Board of Directors, and SPR CT and Thoracic Imaging Committees. He currently serves on the Imaging Gently Steering Committee and the Board of Directors of the SPR, and as Chair of the Professionalism and Career Development Committee of the SPR.
